Consultation

I have been supervising pre-licensed therapists and consulting to licensed therapists for 15+ years. Consultation involves in-depth exploration of case material to address countertransference and transference dilemmas, and to deepen your understanding of what may be happening in the dyad. We will think together about the case material and pay close attention to the present moment experience in the room, where parallel processes tend to arise.

I have a particular interest in helping therapists who are newer to private practice think deeply about how they hold their dual roles of clinican and business owner. Together we can address your experience dealing with money and the fee, cancellation policies, learning to hold your authority, marketing your practice, and how to sustain a practice that is truly nourishing for both you and your clients.
